PhilRights is looking for one full-time Information Associate to be based in Quezon City.

The Philippine Human Rights Information Center (PhilRights) is looking for someone with experience in the production of information materials for advocacy, education, and training. The ideal candidate has:

  • Sound understanding of current socio-political dynamics, especially in relation to the Human Rights situation in the Philippines
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating communication strategies
  • Strong writing skills in English and Filipino. Knowledge of other Philippine languages is a plus
  • Proven experience in graphic design and/or audio-visual production with relevant proficiency in production software (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Proven skills in online information/communication platforms, tools and techniques
  • Proven facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills in working with multi-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and flexibly, as well as cooperatively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage time, determine priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong commitment to Human Rights and social justice

Candidates with knowledge of learning principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools for education initiatives will be prioritized.
